DIWALI CELEBRATIONS OF MY FRIENDS.

DIWALI  CELEBRATIONS  OF  MY  FRIENDS

POSITIVE VIBES:

Hey friends!!! Welcome to our blog!!!

We all happily celebrated Diwali. In this blog, I would like to share some of the best celebrations of my friends.

There are many festivals celebrated in India. Of all these, Diwali is a very interesting and favorite one. Mostly it is referred to as the festival of lights & joy. It comes in the month of  Karthigai every year.
Everyone in India will be happy to invite this festival. It makes us in forget of all sorrows & worries and spreads smiles in every age groups. People buy new dresses and sweets. Kids like to buy crackers. All these make the festival colorful in grand enjoyment.

This year, 2018 we celebrated diwali on November 6. all my friends and their families made lots of  preparations.

As beginning of the celebration, special diwali sweets and snacks are prepared in our homes. All our mothers and grandmas will be an expert in preparing them as very tasty. And we all will be eager to taste those delicious items. Every year without fail my family use to receive many sweets and snacks from our neighbors. They will be so happy to share their homemade eatables with us. Those eatables will last for 1 month in my home as all time snacks. HA HA!! Yeah, that much sufficient quantity This shows their Love and Generousity.

"Diwali is a Festive Time of  Loving, Sharing and Caring."

Another Important Practice that People do is, decorating their Houses and making Colorful Designs called "Kolam" in their Home Entrance. I saw many Beautiful Kolam in my Street made with lots of  Colorful Powders. It is a Belief  to Add Extra Special to the Celebrations. All the Ladies in the Family will join together in Drawing and Coloring them.

In the Diwali Morning, I was Invited by my Neighborhood Aunt to take Breakfast in their Home. I also went to exchange the token of love with them. She and her Two Daughters "vani" & "varshini"
Welcomed me with a Big Smile on their Face. She just presented all items on a clean Banana Leaf.
They are Suliyam, Vadai, Bajji, Laddu, Gulab Jamun, Kesari, Bonda, Idly, Sambar, & Coconut Chutney. Everything looked so Colorful and Yummy. All were my favorites. So I ate Everything happily. This happens every year. She use to invite myself and my brother for Diwali Breakfast.
And happily Serve us.

Secondly,                  "Diwali is a Festival of  REUNION  AND  REJOICE."

Every parents will be Eager for the Arrival of their long Distance Sons and Daughters. And also some of us will be waiting to Enjoy the Festival with our Siblings. " As there is no Better Companion than our Brothers and Sisters".

Few Days Before Diwali, I just talked with my Friend "Sri". She said Sadly that her Elder brother won't come Home for this Diwali. As he got Struck in his Work and could not get Leave from his Company. She was in Great Grief! She Thought, For her, "This Diwali would not be That Much Joyful without her Brother. So she didn't made any Preparations with Great interest.

But I Think her True love and Prayer brought her Brother to their Home on Diwali. I was Happy to see their Family Photo on her Whats app status with a caption "CELEBRATION MODE". Their Faces were Completely filled with Blissful!. That Time I Realized, How Festivals are Important in ones Life!! Its not only Enjoyment but a Wonderful Rejoining.

Now See, How this Festival connects my Friends with their families.

"Gaja", Luckily got the Train Ticket at the Last Moment and departed from Chennai to her Native "Virudhachalam". "Oviya" made her pack up so excitedly to reach her home in "Lalgudi" from Hyderabad. "Aishwaryaa" reached "Trichy" from Coimbatore to meet her Cute Family. "Ammu" got a Small Break from her Busy Chennai Life and went to celebrate Diwali with her Family and Relations in her Peaceful Home Town "Nagapattinam". After many days, "Dhuja" started her Journey from Trichy to see her Mom and Dad in "Kallakurichi".

Though they all Settled  Away from their Homes, this Diwali gave a Chance to Cherish the Festival with their Loved ones in their own Places.

This Year Diwali Brought More Rejoice to my Dear "Kika". As it was a "THALA DIWALI" to her.
First Diwali after Marriage. She enjoyed it in her Mother Home with her Husband. It would be a Different and Awesome Feeling for her since it was time to Celebrate this festival as one Man's Wife. It is a New Beginning to their Prosperous Life.

"Diwali is a Festive for TRADITIONAL WEAR"

My Friend "Vidhya" posted her Man's Photo with a caption " Happiness is Seeing My Man in Traditional wear". Yeah!!!  Its a Pleasure for every Girl to See her Man of Love in "Shirt & Dhoti".
This gives a Mass Look to Every Boys. And also our Girls, Loves to Wear "Saree" for Diwali. Wearing Saree Adds Extra Beauty to them. Many of my Girls were so Pretty in their Diwali Saree.
I saw My Friend "Vijayalakshmi" and her Cute Little Son. She Looked Beautiful in her Red and Black Saree with Golden Border.

Thus, In Festival, We Remain in Our Own Culture and Tradition Wear.

I must Mention this, in my Post, Otherwise this Diwali Celebration won't Fulfill Completely. Its a "SARKAR DIWALI". Ilaya Thalapathy Actor VIJAY Sir Movie Released on this Festive Time. All of his Fans Enjoyed the First Day First Show in the Cinemas. There were a Massive Groups of Fans in the Theater. This would have been a Special Diwali Treat for all.

And also in this Diwali, Our Thalaivar Super Star RAJINIKANTH sir Interview was Telecast in one Tamil Channel. After 4 Years, he came to an Interview for his Fans. It have been a Vision Pleasure for all his Fans. New Movies and TV Shows are the Great Entertainment in the Diwali time.

In the Diwali Evening, Everyone will be Excited to see the Darkness. As it is a time to Spread the Lights by Firing Crackers. All Age Groups Love this. It Starts by 6 PM. Gathering Together in the Streets. Seeing our Neighbors. Lightening the Crackers. Spreading Brightness. It is the Joy of  Sparkles. My friend, "Shruthi" celebrated like this, with all her Apartment Members. There were Kids, Teen Age Boys & Girls , Middle & Senior Citizens. They all made the Entire Street So Colorful with Sparkling Crackers. Taking Videos and Selfie with Each Other to make those Memories Ever Lasting.

"Diwali  is a  Festive Time to Unite and Share Time with Neighbors".
