I am very Excited to Create this Blog. I was Eagerly Waiting to Present this Blog to you all.

I am Assure to give More Cherishing Moments while Reading it. Its our Coorg Travel Diary. The Foreign People Affectionately Coined this Term "The Scotland of India" for Coorg. Because of its Mountainous, Misty and Cool Atmosphere.

Coorg is Situated in the State of  Karnataka in South India. It is a Beautiful Hill Station and Famous for its Coffee Plantations. There are Many Tourist Places in Coorg which are the most Adorable Scenarios for our Vision. Coorg Welcomes Millions of  Visitors every Year. On My Experience, Coorg is the Cleanest and Pollution  Free Little Town. "Its My Life's Best Travel Destination".

Imagine Everything, To Visualize this Happy Trip.

After Completing my First Year Post Graduate Studies, Myself  and my Friends were planning to Go for a Trip. Just to have a Break from our Usual Life. We searched for many new Places and chosen "COORG". We are Anxiously Waiting for the Day to Start our Journey. Finally its June 06,2018. Yeah !!! Its our Departure Date. Very Eagerly i made all the Preparations and Packed up Everything.

Our Plan was to stay for 3 Days. We have to Reach Mysore from Tiruchirappalli by Train and Then have to Hire Taxi or Van to reach the Coorg, As there is no Direct Train and only the Road Transportation is Available to reach Coorg. It is at a Distance of 118 KM from Mysore.

And On June 07,2018 Afternoon 12.00 PM, we Breathed the Fresh and Clean Coorg Air. We experienced a very Chill Climate with Little Drizzling. It was Full of Greenery around us.We didn't felt any kind of Tiredness. So Without wasting Time we got Ready to Wander in the Misty Nature.

1. St. Michael's Church:

"My Habit is to Seek God First, Wherever I Go". It is a Catholic Church with Awesome Environment. It was Located very near to Our Staying Residency. The Church looks very Classic. I felt like Visiting an Old English Church. I Prayed in the Silence and Thanked for our Safe Journey. The Place Looked very Peaceful. I got a Divine Feeling when Came out. The Church Tower with Cross at the Top Looked so Majestic.

2. Coorg Cuisine

It was 1.30 PM. But i felt it to be like Evening 6.00 PM. That much Light and Calm Climate with Little Rain Showers. We Hired an Auto and went to a Hotel called COORG CUISINE. Its a Popular and Common Hotel for all Varieties of Coorg Foods. It was in the First Floor of a Building, and  was Small in Size. So already many People were Waiting in the Corridor to get Inside. But i don't know that, i just went Inside and Sat in the First Table. A Boy came to me and said, " Mam Please Get up, It is Reserved for Some Other People. So Can you Wait Outside? we will call you Few Minutes later". Thus i got a Big Bulb Glow on My Head. Then I Smiled and went Outside.

Finally we got Table and Ordered for Their Special Cuisine "CHAPATHI, CHICKEN CURRY AND GHEE RICE". Seriously Telling Guys, What an Adorable Taste it was!!! They are the Mouth Watering Dishes.So Hot And Crispy. The Chicken Curry had a Peculiar Taste Which i never had in My Lifetime. My Stomach was very much Fulfilled. We paid and Thanked the Owner for their Unique Taste.

3. Abbey Falls

Our next Spot was to Visit ABBEY FALLS. There are Lots of  Waterfalls in Coorg. Among those, it is the most Common and often visited Waterfalls in Madikeri,Coorg, by many people. Because of its Beauty and Easy Accessibility. At 3.00 PM , We got a Clear Climate. There was no Drizzling. The Sun just Raised its Face. It was So Pleasant to have Little Warm in the Cool Climate. We Enjoyed the Way to the Abbey Falls. The Road had Many Curves, Mountains covered with Fog and Lush Greenery Plants. It was a Safety Ride. Finally we reached the Entrance of Abbey falls. It was very Crowded. We Paid Rs.10 for each as Entrance fees and Walked down for Half  Kilometer to see the Waterfalls. The Path was well Constructed and Maintained. On nearing the falls, I Heard its Falling Sound. I can't Wait to see it. So i Ran Fast. And Stood by Opening my Mouth.It was a Spectacular Beauty. Like a Vanilla Ice Cream, the water was Pure White and Chill. Here Bathing was Prohibited. So just we Admired its Visual and felt the Cool Breeze.

4. Raja's Seat

At 5.00 PM.We went to Raja's Seat. Its a Seasonal Garden of  Colorful Flowers and Artificial Fountains. It is one of the most Important Tourist Spot in Madikeri,Coorg. We saw a Chain of High and Low Rise Mountains filled with Mist.

This Lovely Spot was Favorite for Kings who Ruled and Lived here in the Past. So it got This Name. In the Early Morning its a Vision Treat to See the Sun Rise here. And also the Sunset in the Evening.

But we didn't able to see both also. As it was Moody and Rare to See the Bright Sun for the Days we Stayed there. Outside of this Park, we had Spicy Sweet Corn and Coorg Coffee. It was Marvelous to have them with a Pleasant Smell in that Extra Ordinary Climate.

5. Tala Kaveri

On the Next Day, We Decided to go to Tala Kaveri. It is the Place where the Kaveri River Originates.

It is located by Brahmagiri hill. It stands at a Height of 1,276 m. We Traveled on the Hill Road which was our Unforgettable Journey!! Because when we Started our Ride, there was a Heavy Rain. We felt little Frightened, But that become so Memorable now. The View of Western Ghats was Mind Blowing. We didn't Know Where we are Going,  just Enjoyed Everything on our Way. We Watched every Scenic Beauty without Blinking our Eyes. This Place just Beaten Other Hill Stations like Ooty, Kodaikanal, Darjeeling. Because that much Worthy It was!! After 2 Hours Travel, We reached the Top. We paid Rs. 10 for each as an Entrance Fees. We removed our shoes in the outside. Because the Place was Considered to be Holy Pilgrim Center. When i kept my Feet in the Tala Kaveri, i felt like a Reborn Baby. My Body became Chill and was shivered in the Cold. I can't even Close my Eyes as i was Stunned by the Smoky Snow View. Slowly i started to move and went inside. There was a Temple. And very near to it, the Water Spring was flowing. The Water was very Pure and very Cold. I was very Surprised to See , Because this Small Spring is Watering My Whole State(Tamil Nadu). From here , the Water travels for Miles. How Unimaginable God Creation!!!

Thus, with this Beautiful Moment i Finish this Blog.

Though My Trip ended in 3 Days, these Memories will Last for Many More Years.
